Ash & Lindsey’s wedding day was a perfect reflection of who they are: surrounded by community, and full of meaningful, intentional choices. From a morning Sikh ceremony to a relaxed, floral-filled reception at The Gin on 391, their wedding in Prosperity, South Carolina unfolded with emotion, beauty, and ease.
As moody South Carolina wedding photographers, we’re always drawn to weddings that blend tradition with personal storytelling—and Ash & Lindsey’s day had both in abundance.
A Morning Sikh Ceremony
Ash and Lindsey’s wedding day began with a traditional Sikh ceremony at Gurdwara Guru Nanaksar, where they both wore vibrant red. The space was alive with energy and celebration as family and loved ones gathered to witness their union.

Getting Ready at The Gin on 391
Lindsey spent the morning getting ready at The Gin on 391, where Sloane Artistry worked their magic on hair and makeup. The bridal suite buzzed with excitement as we photographed some of our favorite wedding day details—her dress from The Dress Bridal in Mauldin, SC, the rings, florals, and the little heirloom touches that tell a bigger story.

A Private First Look Before the Reception
Later in the afternoon, Ash and Lindsey changed into their reception outfits and shared a private first look tucked away from their guests. These quiet, candid moments are always some of the most genuine. Just the two of them, no distractions—soaking in the gravity and joy of the day.

Reception at The Gin on 391 – Spring Florals & Courtyard Vibes
The open-air space and courtyard at The Gin on 391 was transformed into a spring dream by the team at J&J Designs, who handled the planning, coordination, and decor. Soft spring florals and pastel linens dressed the tables, while greenery hung from the ceiling beams above—creating a romantic, fresh atmosphere perfect for a daytime celebration.
Guests spent the afternoon enjoying cocktails, catching up with family and friends, and embracing the relaxed pace of the day. It was social, joyful, and designed to keep the focus on connection.

Photos with Friends—No Wedding Party Required
Instead of having a traditional wedding party, Ash and Lindsey asked us to grab candid and posed photos with their closest friends throughout the reception. We’re always happy to be pulled aside for these moments—your wedding gallery should reflect the people you truly want to remember it with, not just the formal portraits.
A Daytime Celebration Full of Music & Meaning
Big Time Band brought the energy to the courtyard, keeping everyone entertained as the celebration carried into the late afternoon. With golden-hour light filtering through the trees and music floating through the open-air venue, the day wrapped up just before evening—leaving everyone glowing and grateful.

A Wedding Rooted in Connection, and Intention
Ash and Lindsey’s wedding was everything a spring celebration should be: colorful, joyful, and deeply personal. It was a true honor to document it all.
