We've wanted to do a session on top of a parking garage for a while now, so we were super excited when Lauren and Stephen said yes! The four of us met on Main Street in Downtown Columbia for golden hour which gave us the prettiest glowy backdrop for their photos.
Before we got started, they both expressed that they were worried about how to stand or what to do with their hands. We like to take a different approach to our couples sessions by relying heavily on prompts to get our subjects moving. Lauren and Stephen were up for everything we threw at them. They danced, ran, laughed, and even played an extremely competitive game of tag. While they definitely felt silly at first, it helped break the ice, and allowed us to capture genuine, candid moments that are a true reflection of their relationship.
